Fifth edition, 1918. Oblong quarto, 173 pages. Gilt titling on front board. Navy blue cloth, lightly silverfished. Hinges are sound and text is very good. Light inside top corner stain to rear board, barely penetrates text but is visible. Very scarce item. "The examples here are reproductions of the personal work and conceptions of one individual" with a focus on 4 viewpoints: 1) Simplicity of form; 2) Least amount of effort in the shortest possible time; 3) arrangement of the whole in an artistic manner; and 4) A letter style selection adaptable to the subject.
