Folio, unpaginated, more than 300 pages with numerous fold-out pages and occasional illustrations. and frontispiece photograph of Flavio Manieri and Richard de Combray. Illustrated stiff wrappers. - First edition. A very fine copy, complete with the loosely laid in and folded poster "non aprire se non sei disposto a concederti" (don't open if you're not willing to indulge). A book with typewriter-based art, close, but different from visual or concrete poetry. Although the name of magdalo mussio has not been mentioned in the colophon or anywhere else in this book, it is evident that he had a hand in the production of this book. Certain typographic solutions, the horizontal black bars that appear on several pages. Most interesting is a page that prints '/altro ? oltre/', announcing the 'collana altro' that he will publish later in 1974 for the publishing house La Nuova Foglio Flavio Manieri was a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst and co-author of Analisi retorica del linguaggio giornalistico in differenti situazioni sperimentali. (1983 ) and from his hand (among many others) are L'immagine del labirinto o dell'esatto incanto. (1986) and Verde verticale '90. Spazio, visualità e scrittura nella poesia italiana 1990-1968 (1989) Manieri was Professor of Educational Psychology and Psychopedagogy of Language and Communication at the University of "La Sapienza" and became later director of empirical-experimental research at the Third University of Rome. In the late seventies he was a visiting Professor at Princeton and Yale and taught methodology and technique of psychological research at the University of Urbino Between '58 and '65 he was part of the neo-avant-garde Gruppo '63.
