If Not Modi, Who Else?: The One Who Deserves the Nobel Peace Prize

What does peace mean in the twenty-first century?

Is it only the silence of guns, or does it also include development, dignity, health, climate action, humanitarian service and the protection of the vulnerable?

In IF NOT MODI, WHO ELSE?, Dr R. G. Anand presents a bold and comprehensive case for viewing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership through the expanded lens of modern peace. The book examines how governance, diplomacy, public welfare, strategic restraint, Vaccine Maitri, climate initiatives and India’s global humanitarian outreach together shape a new definition of peace.

Written by a physician, public health expert and child rights advocate, this work argues that lasting peace is not built by treaties alone, but by transforming lives, reducing suffering and strengthening human security.

This is a timely reflection on leadership, development and India’s role in a changing world.
