About the Author

Katherine Blackmore is a freelance artist with over twenty years of experience as an illustrator, animator, and teacher. She graduated with an illustration degree from the Cleveland Institute of Art and has worked for American Greetings, Walt Disney Feature Animation Studio, Montessori World School, Full Sail University, and currently teaches children in the Creative Core Art Program, which she founded. Katherine has illustrated several picture books. She lives in Orlando, Florida with her husband, Eric and three cats.
