Mom Pact

MOM PACT They were never the problem.

Five women walk into a support group. Only their exes don't walk out.

Annie, and four women just like her, didn't plan to become a pact. They planned to heal. But when a routine group session turns into a candid - and frankly cathartic - fantasy about what life would look like if their abusers simply ceased to exist, something shifts. No one says anything out loud. Not exactly.

Then the first ex dies. An accident, obviously. Then the second. Terribly tragic. By the third, the women are starting to wonder.

Part dark comedy, part revenge fantasy, part uncomfortably accurate portrait of family court, coercive control, and the systems designed to protect the wrong people - Mom Pact is the book your support group will pass around and absolutely never discuss with your lawyer.

For fans of Throw Mama from the Train with a family court setting.

This is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to actual abusers, family courts, or other systems designed to protect the wrong people is purely - well, the author won't gaslight you. But legally? Fiction. Totally dark humor, fiction.

Annie Reyes doesn't have a filter and isn't looking for one.. Armed with dark humor, a finely tuned sense of absurdity, and a front-row seat to systems that were never designed to protect the people who need it most, she turns injustice into ink. When she's not dismantling institutions one chapter at a time, she's probably laughing at something she shouldn't be. She lives for her son, runs on spite and coffee, and would like the court system to go f*** itself respectfully.
