"Just a Momentâ is Ivanâ s first published book but many of the stories of this volume have been used by him in the pulpit as he has preached in California, South Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee.
Of his 73 years Ivan has pastored more than 44 of them, served four years in the Navy, and twelve years as Vice President of the Tennessee Baptist Childrenâ s Homes. â Just a Momentâ is the outgrowth of all of those years. He pastored in the Low Country of South Carolina, while serving attached from the Navy to the United States Marines at Parris Island. These are exactly as they say, just moments of joy, inspiration, and laughter.
Ivan and his wife, Carole, have a blended family of six children and ten grandchildren. He and Carole live in Franklin and Byrdstown, Tennessee where he currently serves as pastor of First Baptist Church. He can be reached at 124 Oak Street, Byrdstown, TN 38549 or inraley@yahoo.com
His Sunday Morning worship broadcast can be heard on three FM stations and is scanned around the world on the internet at 11:00 AM central time at www.kingofkingsradio.com
