"I have been in the business of helping people manage their money for over 20 years, and I’ve seen many books on the subject. Max Jaffe’s book, ‘My Money, Myself’ has a most practical, innovative and workable approach to money and how it actually works. If you buy this book, your wallet will thank you."
-Robert Allen, four-time New York Times Best-selling author
Founder and CEO of Spending Solutions, Inc.(SM), Max conceived an easy process that connects time worked with consumption. His patent-pending Financial Fuel Gauge(SM) makes the process fun, and the final product is a customized, personal spending plan through which people find how simple and easy it is to handle money and make the most of it.
In 1998, Max began living his dream of helping others, when he founded Spending Solutions and became a consultant, professional speaker, and workshop leader. His career began as an auditor with Price Waterhouse in the early 1980's. Max later served for 12 years as Treasurer for multi-billion dollar commercial real estate developer, MEPC American Properties. At MEPC, Max was responsible for both debt- and investment-management. He controlled a $1 billion commercial paper program, a $500 million investment portfolio, and oversaw day-to-day cash management for 30 different real estate properties.
Juanelle Teague, associate of the world-renowned Zig Ziglar, says Max has "a servant heart." His passion for helping others is demonstrated through his volunteer work. Combining his love of economics, public speaking and serving the community, Max volunteered for five years with the Applied Economics Program for Junior Achievement, teaching economics to high school seniors. Additionally, each week for the past eight years, Max has combined his passion for swimming and teaching by coaching more than 30 Special Olympians.
His dedication to others includes 10 years of volunteering for the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Survivors Volunteer Network (formerly CanSurmount), matching newly diagnosed cancer patients with survivors of the same type of cancer.
