About the Author

Steven Ricchiuto has worked on Wall Street since 1980, as an economist, strategist, and director of fixed income research. He worked at several firms prior to joining Mizuho Securities USA LLC, including Donaldson, Lufkin, and Jenrette; Kidder Peabody; and Dean Witter. He also worked in the US securities arms of several European banks such as Barclays; ABN Amro; and Svenska Handelsbanken. He is currently the US economist at Mizuho Securities USA LLC. His latest two books are Disequilibrium: How the Great Inflation Caused the Great Recession and Symptomatic to Systemic: Understanding Postwar Cycles and Financial Debacles.
