Matt Gordon was born as a baby in a Missouri town he swore never to live in as an adult. Now an adult, Gordon resides in that very Missouri town and has taken to writing things down. He now takes these odd, written things, delicately Midwestern though they are, and smashes them together into humorous collections to be published in book form or on his blog (creatively titled themattgordon.com). Aside from writing essays and stories and other nonsense, Gordon works for a church and is a follower of Jesus Christ. He lives with his wife, hates dogs and other pets (though he has an affinity for badgers and beavers), and continues hoping someone will give him a whole bunch of money.
