Chapter 2 discusses and evaluates their epistemological implications and deals with the generalization and application of this exemplary story to epistemological questions in general. Chapter 3 applies it to information systems modeling in particular. The aspects of multiple mono-perspectivity and conflicting partial models in information systems modeling are analyzed and approaches to a well-reasoned and conscious treatment of their integration and harmonization are demonstrated.
