This edition contains six issues plus a supplementary issue bound in one volume, beginning with the August 1, 1805 Issue, No. 132, 1, of Vol. 20 and runs through the January 1, 1806 Issue, No. 137, 6 of Vol. 20. Immediately following is a "Supplementary Number to the Twentieth Volume of the Monthly Magazine, Vol, 20, No. 138, January 31, 1806. All issues are approximately 90-100 pp., respectively. The supplement is approximately 75 pages. Contents of this supplement are Domestic Literature, History, Poetry, Education, and a Retrospect of French Literature. Hardcover. Bound in half brown calf leather and marbled teal, red, orange and black color-themed paper boards. Flat, hubbed spine with black label, stamped in gilt lettering and decoration. Illustrated with several black and white illustrations, data tables, and fold-out maps. Contains General Index to the The Twentieth Volume. Page edges are lightly sprinkled in brown ink. 676 pp. CONDITION: This edition is in overall "very good" condition with wear and heavy rubbing and "wear-through" on both the leather and the paper cover. Front and back joints are starting with exposed stitching. Exposed stitches within the front and back hinges, yet the boards are firmly attached and the binding is sound. Pages have unevenly toned and contain some foxing and discoloration throughout, with occasional creasing, yet pages are free from marginalia or annotation. A nice, quite legible copy.
