With dozens of color photos, sketches of layouts of monuments, and descriptive text by Bruno d'Agostino, with a foreword by Giorgio Seferis. --- This hardcover copy in full blue cloth-covered boards with titling in gilt to cover and spine; printed on heavyweight papers. Volume wrapped in jacket with images of ancient Greek structures to front and back panels. --- A tightly-bound, sound copy though with prior owner's embossed circular stamp to half title page. Jacket with a few tears to edges, otherwise intact and bright and wrapped in removable archival mylar protector.
