1872. No Edition Remarks. 439 pages. No dust jacket. Purple cloth. Colour illustrated frontispiece. Heavy cracking to hinges and gutters, with exposed netting, pages are loose. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Small tears to some page edges, text remains unaffected. Front free endpaper stuck to pastedown. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with tears to cloth to spine.
