1871. No Edition Remarks. 534 pages. No dust jacket. Purple cloth. Colour illustrated frontispiece. Severe cracking to hinges and gutters causing boards and pages to be loose. Rear board and spine detached from text block. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Previous owner's inscriptions to endpapers. Heavy tear to front free endpaper with part of ffep stuck to front pastedown. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Moderate sunning to spine and edges. Tears to cloth to spine. Staining to front board.
