Square octavo; hardcover with green cloth decorated boards and black titling, illustrated endpapers; 143pp., coloured frontispiece and title page, and many monochrome line illustrations by Hal Gye. Moderate wear; boards rubbed with well-sunned spine panel and adjacent, rubbed edges with frayed and bumped corners, one or two small scrapes on upper front board; owner's name stamps; foxing to endpapers, densely spotted preliminaries and scattered spotting thereafter; text block edges browned and well-spotted.
