Moon Dancing Volume 1

Moon Dancing: Volume 1 launches readers into a modern supernatural thriller set in small-town Ireland, where a chilling series of grisly murders has shaken the Sapien community and baffled the local police. Investigative journalist Cara-Marie McKenna is determined to uncover the truth, but the deeper she digs, the more she realizes the killings are not the work of any human hand. Beneath the quiet rural landscape lies a hidden world of ancient rivalries, secret dens, and creatures who walk between myth and flesh.

The Garou - a powerful werewolf clan - and the Noctrailis - an old and disciplined vampire order - have maintained a fragile, uneasy balance for centuries. But something has disturbed the old rules. As bodies pile up and tensions rise, Cara-Marie finds herself caught between two supernatural forces preparing for open war. The Northern Den's history, loyalties, and betrayals slowly surface, revealing a conflict far older and far more dangerous than she imagined.

With excellent character development, sustained suspense, and a richly imagined supernatural mythology, Moon Dancing blends crime investigation with dark fantasy. The story moves through Irish landscapes, hidden lairs, ancient grudges, and modern dangers as Cara-Marie races to uncover who - or what - is responsible for the murders. As she edges closer to the truth, she becomes entangled in a conflict that threatens not only the Garou and Noctrailis, but the entire Sapien world.

This first volume in Iain Mclachlan's trilogy sets the stage for an escalating supernatural war. The long-standing feud between werewolves and vampires is no longer contained. The murders are only the beginning. And as the chilling tale unfolds, one truth becomes clear: the war between the Garou and Noctrailis has just begun.
