The Clock Bookshop is a valuable resource for book lovers in the heart of the Fens with funds raised from book sales being donated to 'The Octavia Hill Birthplace House Trust' charity in Wisbech. Octavia Hill was the driving force and treasurer of the influential Kyrle Society sharing the view 'books for all'. It therefore feels appropriate that we extend our 'books for all' maxim by not only selling a range of quality books in our Wisbech bookshop but also rare, out of print and antiquarian books online.

Books that are part of a 'set' of books will as much as possible be sold as a complete set, otherwise books will be sold individually.
Books will be packaged securely and safely to allow for prompt shipping and arrival.

Shipping terms

Any book purchased will packaged and shipped within 5 working days. In circumstances where this target cannot be achieved we will contact you and explain reason and revised shipping/posting schedule.
We re use packaging where possible. Your package will be secure and safe, but may look a little untidy!
Small books will be packaged in padded envelopes, larger books will be box packed, multiple book purchases in a single transaction will be packaged in a single box.
It is the buyers responsibilty to make arrangements to be at home or make suitable arrangements for package delivery of pickup.
The seller will accept delivery address changes only within 12 hours of purchase. After this time delivery address changes are difficult to execute with delivery companies.
