About the Author

Jane Brown was born and raised in Herefordshire, England, and the beautiful countryside influenced her career as an artist. She has always loved quality children's books and was inspired to write My Moon Wish while staying in the small English village of Inkpen.

"I have always been inspired by the work of Make-A-Wish. The concept of wishing at the heart of my book perfectly dovetails with the organization's mission of granting life-changing children's wishes. Nothing is more powerful than a child's wish. I hope my book creates a space for children to dream and hope and let their minds journey to a place where the power of imagination and wishes can inspire them."

Jane Brown has lived in Kentucky for more than 25 years. She has two grown sons and two grandsons - Ollie, to whom the book is dedicated, and George, just recently born.
