About the Author

Bernadette Rose Smith writes, makes art, and tells stories. Combining all three elements, in her visual storytelling projects, ranks high among her passions. She loves to share the treasures found when one dives deep into any aspect of the creative realm.

Diagnosed with breast cancer, just three months after cancer took her husband, Bernadette intuitively knew surviving would not be enough. Her creativity became a key component in her process for healing through the sense of loss these life events ushered in. Today, she strives to thrive while expanding the creative legacy they shared.

She's written two books in the self-help genre; MoonDancing being her second. Her blog, Bernadette's Messy Musings, is where you'll find her art, words, and whatever else she believes blog-worthy. Her first novel, The Luminous Slide is now available on Amazon.

Bernadette currently enjoys life in the greater Atlanta area while frequently breaking out in dance with clients, friends, family, and her furry meow-muses.
