Moonshadows: Only The Most Cunning Will Survive (Paperback or Softback)

Set in the breathtaking yet unforgiving Canadian North, Moonshadows is a powerful tale of friendship, survival, and self-discovery. Five lifelong friends embark on what was supposed to be a routine fishing trip to the remote Albany River. But as nature begins to turn on them — with unpredictable weather, wild terrain, and the haunting silence of the wilderness — the men find themselves facing not only the elements, but their own buried truths.

What begins as a time-honored tradition turns into a test of endurance and emotional strength. Long-standing bonds are challenged. Old memories resurface. Secrets come to light. And as they struggle to navigate both the land and each other, each man must confront the question: who are we when we are stripped of everything but each other?

Robert B. Gregg’s storytelling is deeply atmospheric, blending rich landscape descriptions with raw, human emotion. Moonshadows is more than a story of survival — it’s a reflection on aging, masculinity, friendship, and the quiet ways we hold each other together.

With its vivid narrative, emotional depth, and unforgettable setting, Moonshadows is a compelling read for fans of literary fiction, outdoor adventure, and character-driven storytelling.
