About the Author

Charles A. Coppin received his baccalaureate degree from Southwestern Universty, Georgetown, Texas and his doctorate in Mathematics from the University of Texas. He was a student of H.S. Wall, who was a colleague of R.L. Moore.

W. Ted Mahavier is the grandson of William S. Mahavier, who was a student of R.L. Moore. He has taken extensive clasases on both Moore and Wall.

E. Lee May has been practicing the Moore Method throughout his thirty-seven years of teaching.

G. Edgar Parker has taught mathematics since 1969. He received his baccalaureate degree from Guilford College and has taken many courses in the Moore Method.
