Every Morning I Looked For You: A Patsy Kany Novel

Every morning, Mellon Calloway stands on the Cleveland Park platform at the exact same minute. She tells herself it’s routine. She tells herself it’s coincidence. She tells herself it has nothing to do with the man she has quietly watched for months.

She is wrong.

What begins as a harmless ritual becomes a private world built from glances, timing, and the eight minutes they share in the same train car. A world where nothing has happened, and yet everything has changed. And then, one morning, he isn’t there.

Tender, sharp, and devastatingly observant, Every Morning I Looked For You is a novel about the stories we build in our heads, the strangers who become our secret hopes, and the courage it takes to choose something real over something perfect.

A contemporary literary romance for readers who love quiet longing, interior worlds, and the moment a private hope demands to become real.
