Fourth Series written for young persons between the ages of 12 and 15 years of age, but very readable for the oldies. 351 pages, good throughout with some early childrens pen drawings to the front and back end papers, which rather add to the charm of the book. Spine chipped at top and sun faded, corners rubbed. Size: 145x95mm.

We stock a broad range of collectors and antiquarian books at our shop in Farningham Kent UK. We sell in addition on multi dealer sites and our own website, www.wadardbooks.com - Our specialities include A&C Black colour books, Kentish and London history and Military history. The book shop was established in 2001 and is housed in a listed 17th century building. The village of Farningham has iron age origins, with much Roman settlement, and is today still predominantly 18th century in character. The shop is named after Wadard, one of Farningham's Domesday landlords, a henchman of Bishop Odo, William the Conquerers brother,and featured on the Bayeaux tapestry.
