Office marocain du tourisme, 1952. Metal spiral bound, small 16 mo (4 x 6), 61 pp. Reprinted reprinted to encourage selling Moroccan rugs in France, originally published in the 1920s in French. Pocket size guide to guide to North African (Moroccan) Carpets by Prosper Ricard (honorary 'Director of Moroccan Arts and founder of the Moroccan National museums' collections). Stiff card covers, lightly soiled and a smudge on the lower left corner (does not affect text). Previous owner name and address stamp on front endpaper. 20 full color plates (see sample images). Pages are lightly toned due to age, no markings on the pages. Good detail about rugs from different tribes, patterns, hand knotting, etc. Book condition: Good plus. Books are packaged with care and shipped in a box.
