Not a single map, but a map workbook for use in schools. Very good condition, with wear and small tears at corners. Each set of pages has an almost blank map at the left side and a long series of questions, with spaces for answers, on the right-hand page. Some answers have been filled in by a student in pencil. 7 maps, all printed in blue. Dated from ads on back wrapper. Published by Morse & Gaston and printed by John E. Wells, of Beekman Street in New York. Wells printed several maps which were distributed as pocket maps in the 1850's. OCLC 30066095 (3 loc.).
