Mortal Guardian: Into the Inferno

The Mortal Guardians prepare for war, but Raven Naelo’s battle is far more personal.
A necromancer has taken one of her fellow Guardians captive, and worse, he’s stolen her sister’s corpse. Raven conjures a rescue mission, but nothing goes to plan. Allies are scarce. Enemies close in. And her magic? It’s becoming erratic and dangerous—just like the secrets she’s too afraid to speak aloud. Not to Gideon. Not to anyone.
As the lines between right and wrong blur, Raven is forced to bargain with monsters she once swore to destroy. Every step deeper into enemy territory drags her closer to truths she’s tried to forget—and a past that refuses to stay buried.
Magic is breaking. The world is shifting. And Raven? She’s caught in the fracture line.
But as old wounds reopen and forbidden truths surface, Raven must tread carefully. To defy your king is treason. To defy your father? Heart-wrenching. Torn between duty and blood, Raven rebels against King Naelo’s orders to abandon the mission. With a crew of pirates, bounty hunters, and Draakgoons at her side, she descends into the Abyss Realm—a place few return from, and fewer return from whole.
Her father warned her: Beware the balors. But will she heed it—or, like him, lose her head trying? But Raven’s not sure what’s more dangerous—the demons in the inferno or the Draak-kin within.
