About this title

Synopsis

The Mothers’ Club: Beyond Loss of a Child was designed to supply the words, the healing prescription for those who have lost and for those who comfort. Using what we have learned from our own children’s deaths, we document what overturns the barriers and moves us forward. WHY READ THIS BOOK? If you need a support system to face the death of a child or if you are seeking a sensitive approach to comfort the bereaved, you will find * real stories with real reactions to loss retold by family & friends; * an affirmation to grieve your way; * spiritual nourishment; * words of encouragement; * guidance on hope to endure a loss; * ways to create your own Mothers' Club or your support group; * knowledge on how to console; * true acts of comfort; and * ways to remember your child. This book is dedicated to children. If we enlighten only one person, our labors of love have been worthwhile!! Each of us knows how it feels to be searching in the darkness. The Mothers' Club has become our beacon, our illumination, our direction. With God as our faithful companion, our sons and daughters as our inspirations, and earthly angels as healers of our hearts, we continue our ascent from affliction. Our vision remains fixed on our final destination - heaven, where our children await our arrival! We pray The Mothers' Club becomes your beacon - a guide to shedding light on unanswered questions that keep you in your own personal darkness.
