The Master was ordered to inquire to what persons, other than L.W., the custody of his infant children should be committed. It was also ordered that L.W. should be restrained from removing them. In pursuance of this order the children were placed under the care of M.L. One of the children was removed by L.W. beyond the jurisdiction of the Court. By an order of 16th July 1831 the Lord Chancellor committed L.W. to the Fleet Prison. 14 pages, printed in double columns. A trial from the Reports of State Trials, New Series, 1889, published in facsimile, 1982. This particular trial report has been removed from a volume of Macdonell & Wallis's State Trials and is now preserved in a modern card cover for practicality - an unassuming but serviceable rebinding that favours function over finery.
