22.5x10 cm. Illustrated wrappers, well worn, chipped and creased. Back wrapper torn, with loss, at bottom outside corner. Internally good to very good. 144 pp. Contains route descriptions and maps for automobile routes, mostly through New York State, New England and southern Canada, but also connecting routes to Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Detroit and Chicago. Many ads, mostly for hotels, restaurants and garages. In the early days of automobile travel, before highways and parkways, guides such as this were indispensable for navigating the routes between cities and towns.
