Item description from seller

Good. The blue cloth front cover shows moderate to heavy wear with scuffs, scratches and soiling across the surface, and the gold front label is intact and legible but shows aging and light soiling. The back cover has significant scuffing, surface abrasion and light staining. The spine shows some cloth wear but the gold lettering remains in good readable condition. A period dealer's sticker is affixed to the title page. Inside, the pages are yellowed and aged but the text is clean and legible, no torn pages are visible, and no writing or highlighting was seen in any pictured page. The binding is intact across the visible spreads. There are no library markings of any kind: no spine call-number label, no stamps, no card pocket, no date-due slip, no barcode sticker, no discard or withdrawn stamp and no Mylar wrap. Pages not clearly pictured cannot be certified free of marks.

Store description

For 15 years I've been an Oregon CPA, and for 10 of those I taught tax and accounting at the college level. But my proudest work has nothing to do with numbers: I homeschooled my daughter from preschool through freshman year and in September she will be starting the 10th grade - homeschooling. This season taught me a good book can shape how a child sees the world. Every title I choose has to engage young minds to think critically and navigate this world with real understanding. Every book has a story — but it only means something when a child lives it. Why Papa Duck? I was "Uncle Duck" to my nieces and nephews for years — duck pictures fill my office, Mallards are my favorite. When my grandson arrived last year, the family asked what he'd call me. There was only one answer. CPA by training, teacher by calling, homeschool dad by experience, Papa Duck by love.
