Original dark maroon cloth gilt, small 4to, pp vi,707-1060. Illustrated with photographic ills, text drawings and diagrams, and a chromolithograph at rear depicting the Solex Carburettor with movable parts ( lifting flaps ). Covers car models from Ceirano, Chandler, Chenard-Walcker, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroen, Clyno, Crossley, Daimler, Darracq, Delage, Delaunay-Belleville, Dennis, Diatto, Dodge, Donnet-Zedel, Essex and Hudson, Excelsior. . Undated but appears to be late 1920`s. Sturdy cloth binding clean and sound with spine gilt bright. Contents clean and tight, endpapers a tad dusty. Small component from moveable flap model at rear detached but present and sound, just needing to be reaffixed. One of 5 volume set originally ( see also volumes II and IV listed ). At least VG Heavy book weighing c1900g when parcelled, exceeding the postage quotation default weight of 1000g and thus incurring extra postage over the default for orders from overseas and those sent by 1st class post in the UK ( 2nd class unaffected ).
