About the Author

Besides two other novels, Joyce Nowacki authored two local newspaper columns writing over 600 article and taught writing classes for North Idaho College Workforce Training in the 1990s. Also in the 1990s, she served three terms on the Lakeland School Board, and in 2002 ran for Idaho State Senate (and says it's the best thing she ever lost). Joyce is a native of North Idaho. She was married for 49 years and has two daughters and five grandchildren.
