Mouse (The Elmnas Chronicles)

She woke with no name, no past, and one certainty: someone had burned the number 146 into her arm.
Known only as Mouse, she survives as a worker in Misty Summit's Manufacturing Facility, where people are reduced to numbers and questions are dangerous. Memories come only in fragments—a woman's face, a warning, flashes of a life she cannot reach.
Then Mouse discovers something that gives those fragments a direction.
Elmnas.
To the Coalition, the distant country is little more than a forbidden myth. To Mouse, it may be the only place where the truth about her identity still exists. Reaching it means escaping the only world she knows and crossing lands where helping a fugitive can make anyone an enemy of the state.
With the Coalition hunting her and a relentless bounty hunter closing in, Mouse is forced to trust strangers whose secrets may be almost as dangerous as her own. Every mile toward Elmnas brings her closer to answers—and deeper into a struggle far larger than the mystery of one missing past.
Because Mouse is beginning to understand that finding out who she was may change what she chooses to become.
MOUSE, Book One of The Elmnas Chronicles, is a dystopian fantasy adventure of lost identity, rebellion, friendship, ancient secrets, and a young woman's fight to reclaim the life stolen from her.
