Reid Kaplan grew up in Monroe, CT and has been writing since he was 17. He graduated from The New York Film Academy in 2002 and began making independent films while working in marketing and sales for his families' retail shoe business. In 2013 Reid married his long time love, Kristen, and the two had a beautiful daughter, Charlie, the following year. After Charlie was born Reid began to write stories for children.
