Rumer Godden's Mouse House is about a little mouse named Bonnie who, tired of living in a crowded flowerpot, discovers a discarded doll's house for mice in a girl's room. Mary, the girl who owns the house, initially put it away because its make-believe flannel mouse figures didn't move, but Bonnie makes the miniature house into a real, comfortable home for herself and eventually, other proper mice. Illustrated end-papers & further illustrated throughout by Adrienne Adams' charming colour drawings. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 63 pages.
