Of Mouse and Man: 1 (Tangle Tales)

When his mother dies after 50 years of belittling him, mouse-like Brian Ellis has to discover who he is. A rather mysterious fellow student from long-ago university days comes to Brian’s antiquarian bookshop with a proposition. It is destined to give Brian a purpose and a way forward.
A whimsical tale of one man’s inner turmoil and his path through it, with much humour, even more food and drink – and a therapeutic cat.
In the process, you will find out who the Swinging Sisters are, where you can drink the cocktail, Devastation, which consists of beech noyau with a pickled walnut and a chickweed garnish, and eat Badger Ragout with Wild Garlic Pesto and Croutons, and why the ceiling fell down.
