Hemingway is in his twenties. We see him sitting in a cafe in the place St Michel, writing a story, sipping rum and watching a pretty girl. The story finished, he orders a dozen portugaises and a half-carafe of white wine before going home to his wife and their two-room flat. So complete is Hemingway?s art that the four decades between what was done and felt and what was remembered and written seem not to have intervened at all. Title: A Moveable Feast Author: Ernest Hemingway Publisher: Jonathan Cape Publication Date: 1964 first edition Format: Hardcover in jacket Condition: This book is in good condition for its age other than some signs of wear to the back of the dustjacket.
