Moving Mountains (Paperback)

Terri Kern has recently overcome a challenging chapter in her life—her husband, Mike, is finally feeling like himself again after conquering painful health issues.

Terri is excited that her family can now get back to its normal routine. That is, until she herself is struck by a car—and they discover that their suffering has only just begun.

Moving Mountains: Discovering Joy through Suffering is a captivating look at how one woman’s horrific accident tests not only the strength of one family but also its faith in God.

As the powerful story unfolds, readers are introduced to a chorus of different voices—Terri herself, Mike, and their five children as well as medical staff and friends—all poignant perspectives in a haunting and emotional story. Each person offers his or her own moving viewpoint on a moment that changed not just Terri’s life but the lives of those around her, a heartrending glimpse at how a family and a community manage to navigate even the most unforgiving of emotional terrain.

Can Terri recover from her life-altering injuries? Can she and her family see God’s higher plan for their path in life?
