The Moving Target by John MacDonald is a rare, vintage, classic novel of noir and adventure starring private eye Lew Archer. This book is a second edition in its third printing. It is missing the bottom right corner, and there is a divot in the top of the book. The cover has slight peeling to the spine on the top left and bottom left of the book, and the ghost of a dog-ear on the top-right of the cover. Cover art is still prominent and essentially intact, there is some faint red marking on the right-middle of the cover. The top-left of the rear cover is missing; about three quarters of an inch square. There is a puncture mark in the rear cover as well. Some corners of interior pages have been snipped off. However, the text is entirely readable, there are no internal markings in the book, and all pages sit securely in the binding. Pages are limned in a deep red color. 197 Numbered Pages.
