Collins in 1926, this is a smart copy of this very scarce in all editions novel from Hugh Tuite, in the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper.Set in 1916, this farcical tale bears the tag line 'millions marry - but only a few marry millions'.Undated; dated c. 1930 via publisher's years of operation.Lengthy pencil inscription, dated 1934, to the half title. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally bright, with bumping to back strip head and tail. Inscription to half title. Losses to dust wrapper back strip head and tail, with further significant losses to head of front and rear wrap, and small losses to wrap tails. Light marks to rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound.
