Add to basketMr. Rabbit at Home by Joel Chandler Harris (the author of Uncle Remus)-a sequel to Little Mr. Thimblefinger and His Queer Country, illustrated by Oliver Herford, published by Grosset and Dunlap-latest copyright date shown is 1923 by Esther La Rose Harris. Large 304 page, bright yellow hardback book is printed on heavy paper and shows quite a bit of soiling to binding. The endpapers have a large picture of a laughing, dressed rabbit sitting on a log. The end papers, outside edges of pages, and some of text show foxing, there are some stains on some of the pages, and some small tears and nicks , but the interior is basically in good condition. No dust jacket. Book uses some the same kind of Negro dialect used in the Uncle Remus stories. NOT AN EX-LIB!
