Addressed from the Inner Temple in answer to legal questions re. Mr. Stevens' case (involving a rental and estate trustees). He had read the addressee's letter at Bridgwater and, having been unable to answer the questions in Cornwall, and having gone into the North on business, he has only just returned, to be of assistance. One page in his neat small legible hand. John Dunning became the greatest lawyer Devon has produced and rose to the peerage, becoming the first Lord Ashburton.
