Advertisement for Shippams meat and fish pastes which includes a royal appointment to H. M. King George VI, which would date this book between 1936 and 1952. Thick 8vo. 8½'' x 6¼''. Contains [xvi] 1680 pages (+ 14 pages of advertisements) with 16 plates in colour and nearly 350 illustrations on double-sided black and white plates. Just a little soiling to the light grey cloth sides, corners bumped, binding solid and tight.
