In good condition, with minor rubbing and wear to exterior, primarily along edges and corners. Hinges remain in good condition with minor wear and text block remains bound well. Light markings and marginalia. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Staining to top right corners of pages. A scarce piece and attractive copy regarding food preparation, canning, recipes, and more by Sarah Tyson Rorer (1849-1937), an American food writer and domestic science pioneer, having been described the first American dietician.
