Angel Vik, born and raised in Oklahoma, is a devoted mother of five and proud grandmother of three lively grandsons. As an occupational therapy practitioner, she has spent a good deal of her career working in a school setting. Outside the classroom, she enjoys serving as a children's church minister alongside her husband Todd. Her favorite pastimes include spending time with family and friends, baking, traveling, being outdoors, and time spent in worship.

The inspiration for Vik's book, Ms. Victory's First Day Jitters, was a poem she wrote for her second-grade class, which quickly became a hit with her students. She gives all the Glory to God for giving her this story. She prays this book serves as a fun way to help equip children with spiritual tools to overcome anxiety and fear.
