The software package MuPAD is a computer algebra system that allows to solve computational problems in pure mathematics as well as in applied areas such as the natural sciences and engineering.
This tutorial explains the basic use of the system and gives insight into its power. The main features and basic tools are presented in simple steps. Many examples and exercises illustrate how to use the system's functions, the graphics, and the programming language.
