Synopsis

Avery Young loves to bake and wishes ze could just be left alone to do only that, unfortunately running a successful bakery takes more than just delicious treats. Thankfully, zer best friend, Jude Peņa, takes on the bulk of that, leaving Avery to what ze does best. Until Avery stumbles over the body of one of the bakery's best customers.
What could Jake Diaz have ever done to make someone want to kill him? Jude Peņa doesn't have a clue. He always seemed to be a decent person, a good dad, a loyal customer. They'd be willing to leave the investigation up to their stepbrother, Alex, and the rest of the Salisdale Police Department. If only Avery didn't seem to be their prime suspect.
