About the Author: Martin Lings holds degrees from both Oxford and London University. He lectured for

His other works inlude three books on Islamic mysticism, The Secret of Shakespeare, Ancient Beliefs and Modern Superstition, and The Koranic Arts of Calligraphy and Illumination.
