Multi Agent System Coordination: Conceptualization, Strategization and Applications to Disaster Management

With the success of agents in various real life applications, multi-agent systems (MAS) have become quite popular. MAS involve multiple interacting, coordinating and working agents towards a common goal. These agents may have to coordinate their actions and communicate with each other to achieve their objectives. MAS can help improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase flexibility in complex systems. MAS find very useful applications in various phases of disaster management: preparation, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery. This book allows the readers to realize the prowess of MAS in disaster management and allows them to apply the general principles to their specific domains.
