Charles C. Thomas, copyright 2007. Second edition. Large paperback that could be used as a textbook, 10" tall, 336 pp. including name and subject indexes. This copy in very good condition overall. No marks or hi-liting in text. Clean except for very light coffee stain (about 1/2") on the very edges of the last few pages, mainly in the last two chapters ( Brief Review of Selected Individual Counseling Therapies and Conclusion). This stain is about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom and only about 1/2" in length on very edge of pages. Also, the top of the spine has a small bump (indentation). The covers are curling a little. Binding is good and sound. No loose pages or tears. Book appears little used, though someone did have coffee with it. Better-than-average copy. Contents are in four parts: Culture and Multiculturalism, Disability, Disabilities and Multiculturalism, and Helping. The Helping part has been considerably expanded for this edition, with three new chapters. Also, a new chapter on Religion has been added.…

Store description
I started selling books online around 1997-8, first on Bibliofind and then on Amazon. In my youth, I worked for a college textbook store and later at a university library. So I'm no stranger to scholarly books. Although semi-retired now, I still collect books and currently list for sale items no longer wanted in my personal library. Thus I do not have a large inventory as I am working from home. Still, I have an eclectic collection as befits a former librarian. My stock includes textbooks and scholarly books, with an emphasis on history, philosophy, and religion. My approval rating when I was with Amazon was 99% (2 were neutral). I'll try to accommodate any reasonable request.…
